In order to get ‘Crystal Fragments’, you need to buy certain Egg Packs from the in-game shop. During the respective activity, you will see two types of egg packs being sold - Big and Small. In order to see if a package contains Crystal fragments, move and hold your mouse cursor on the Pack you want.
The quantity of crystals which may drop is RANDOM (!) every time.

Small Egg Pack = 1-3 Crystal Fragment
Big Egg Pack = 2-6 Crystal Fragment
Usually, the crystals you get from Egg packs can be sold & bought through Exchange. Crystals aquired through TopUp events can not be sold.
